Oldham Coliseum Theatre’s Patrons’ Scheme is for anyone who wants to be closer to the theatre. By becoming a Patron of our work individuals, couples and families can make a real difference to what we do.
It’s especially for people who enjoy a special relationship with the Coliseum and who play a vital role in helping us to continue our history in the town entertaining and inspiring generations, and contributing to Oldham’s on-going regeneration.
Your support helps to ensure:
- The Coliseum continues to develop more shows of the quality and ambition of The Father, Bread & Roses, Four Minutes Twelve Seconds and Whodunnit at the Coliseum?, plus our much loved annual pantomime which has been entertaining families in Oldham and beyond for generations.
- Opportunities for new writers to launch their careers on the Coliseum stage – we like to think that in this sense, our Patrons are investors as well as donors.
- Young people are able to explore their passion for theatre, both on stage and behind the scenes.
- Community work in the local area benefitting people of all ages.
Our Patrons are an integral part of our company and as such are at the heart of what we do. As a sincere thank you, you’ll receive invitations to Press Nights, opportunities to special behind the scenes events so you can see how our work is made, unique supporters’ talks from actors and theatre professionals and exclusive events. If desired, you will receive recognition as a Patron within the building, in our brochure, in our programmes and on our website.
By funding our work you are part of the creation of our productions. As a Patron you will be joining an inspirational group of philanthropists who have said ‘yes my theatre matters to me and yes to the future of the arts in my town’
